Dr. Krieger is the father of four active children all hailing from California.  He received his undergraduate degree in physiological psychology at University of California at Santa Barbara in 1984. A year was then spent in beautiful Aspen, Colorado. He achieved his degree in podiatric medicine at the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco in 1989. A Post doctorate residency program was completed in San Francisco.  He then practiced in ocean communities in California until 1999, when Colorado drew him back.

He is an avid skier and participates in local team sports. Dr. Krieger strives to continue professional excellence through multiple educational programs to provide patients with the most up-to-date treatment options. He has had medical and surgical training in diabetic foot conditions and wound management.

Treating children and sports medicine problems are his passion.
